A stencil painted overnight on 8–9 May 2019 on the façade of Palazzo San Pantalon, at the edge of the Rio di Ca' Foscari canal, during the Venice Biennale. The work depicts a child in a life vest waving a distress flare whose pink smoke spreads across the right half of the wall, feet level with the canal water. Banksy claimed the piece on Instagram, recalling that Steve Jobs was the son of a Syrian migrant. Eroded by the salt tide, the work was removed in July 2025 for restoration by Banca Ifis.
The artwork L'enfant migrant is of type graffiti. You can admire it in the city of Venezia in Italy, more precisely here: Palazzo San Pantalon, Dorsoduro 3662/3663, 30123 Venezia.
