MTO is an artist born in France. He goes by the pseudonym MTO. He lived in Berlin between 2006 and 2013. That's about all we know about him. To keep the mystery alive, he states: "I live nowhere, on planet Earth.

Until October 2013, MTO (for Matéo) lived in Berlin. He started graffiti in Barcelona in May 2008. His friend Arone, from the TWE crew, encouraged and supported him. He produced a series of impressive portraits (2 to 3 meters high) of musicians from his first year of graffiti. These portraits are made entirely with spray paint. They are inspired by black and white photographs, a universe in which he has been immersed since childhood by his father, a great lover of film photographs.
