Where to find street art in Atlanta (United States)

Atlanta's street art scene took shape around Living Walls, the City Speaks, a conference launched in 2009 that drew international muralists and established the city as a key hub for urban art in the American South. Rooted in a civil rights legacy, the movement grew through grassroots collectives before gaining wider recognition through programs like Greg Mike's OuterSpace Project, founded in 2015.

The Old Fourth Ward is the epicenter, with the Krog Street Tunnel on Edgewood Avenue serving as an ever-changing canvas. The BeltLine Eastside Trail stretches over three miles through Inman Park, Cabbagetown, and Reynoldstown — the largest outdoor art corridor in the southeastern US. Little Five Points, around Euclid Avenue, offers a dense mix of murals and stencils, while Wylie Street in Cabbagetown hosts the annual Forward Warrior festival.

HENSE (Alex Brewer) is the most prolific muralist, known for abstract, colorful compositions spread across multiple neighborhoods. Yehimi Cambron contributes socially engaged works, while Peter Ferrari's Forward Warrior brings new murals to Cabbagetown each year. The city's Street Art Map documents over 2,000 pieces with nine self-guided walking tours.
