Map of street art in La Bañeza (Spain)

La Bañeza is a Spanish town in the province of León, Castile and León, with around 9,500 inhabitants. A small town in the Tuerto valley on the Way of Saint James, it is known for its carnival, its IGP white bean (alubia) and its major motorcycle race circuit.

Its street art scene has grown around the Art Aero Rap festival, created in 2021 and now one of the most respected mural events in north-western Spain. The festival invites fifteen or so national and international artists each summer to transform the gable ends of the town centre. The THE MESSENGER mural by Catalan muralist Uri KTHR, painted in July 2024, ranked 12th best mural in the world on Street Art Cities.

La Bañeza is part of an emerging León mural circuit alongside León itself and Astorga.
