This resort on the west coast of Réunion received two Invader mosaics on 24 December 2022, one on the route des Plages, the other in the town centre. They are worth 50 points in the FlashInvaders game and are still in place.

That Christmas campaign belongs to the trip that also took him to Saint-Denis, the island capital, between 24 and 27 December. The Réunion series is one of the artist's rare ventures into the Indian Ocean.

The island also has a renowned resident of its own: Jace, whose gouzous, small faceless orange figures, have been present here and across the island for more than thirty years. The coexistence of those two vocabularies, the Parisian's cemented tile and the islander's stencil, on the walls of a single commune, sums up rather well what island urban art has become: a mixture of established local signatures and international passing visits.
