Where to find street art in Wrocław (Poland)

Wrocław is the capital of Lower Silesia, a city in western Poland crossed by the Oder river with a layered history — Silesian, German (Breslau) and Polish. Its rebuilt historic centre features one of the largest market squares in Europe, lined with restaurants, cafés and galleries.

The Nadodrze district, north of the historic centre, became Wrocław's main hub for street art from the 2010s onward. Local artists and collectives have claimed the facades of pre-war tenement buildings, turning courtyards and gable walls into open-air canvases. The Kinomural festival, dedicated to animated murals and new media, projects works by international artists there each autumn.

Wrocław's mural scene is driven by a new generation of artists trained at the local Academy of Fine Arts. Monumental frescoes cover facades across the centre and outlying neighbourhoods, blending geometric abstraction, historical references and urban motifs specific to the city.
