The ten mosaics recorded in this Dutch coastal town all share a single address: Keplerlaan, the campus of ESTEC, the European Space Agency's technical centre, where satellites are designed and tested before launch. Invader set them there on 3 June 2015, in one day, for 480 points in the FlashInvaders game. None has been lost.
The operation was part of a tour of the agency's sites across Europe, carried out the same year he sent one of his mosaics to the International Space Station. The German control centre at Darmstadt had received its own two months earlier, and other European facilities followed.
That concentration gives the town an unusual profile: most of its urban art sits on a research site, within a small perimeter, rather than in the seaside centre or along the dunes. The route takes an hour, provided you can get onto the campus, and its space theme answers directly to the arcade game iconography the artist draws his ships from.
