This village in the province of Ravenna, in Emilia-Romagna, carried an Invader mosaic installed on Via Lunga on 18 September 2015. It was worth one hundred points in the FlashInvaders game, the highest tally we have recorded for a single piece, reserved for the largest formats or the most awkward locations. It has since gone.

The date and the code attach it to the campaign run in Ravenna, some twenty kilometres away, between October 2014 and September 2015: thirty-nine pieces for 1,450 points. This Solarolo mosaic was therefore the last of them, installed on the very day the campaign closed.

The meeting between an artist who works in tile and the province of Ravenna, world capital of Byzantine mosaic, whose fifth-century basilicas are UNESCO-listed, is no coincidence.
