This large Adriatic resort, whose fifteen kilometres of beach draw millions of visitors each summer, carries three pieces of a particular kind: stickers in the colours of Inter Milan, placed facing the sea, along the beachfront and out in the hamlet of Rivabella, north of the city.

The sticker is the most mobile form of urban art, the one requiring least time and equipment, and it is also the most practised by football supporters, who apply them as they travel. These two pieces belong less to mural painting than to that culture, where territorial marking matters more than image.

Rimini is also a city where urban art developed in the outer districts rather than on the tightly regulated seafront. Neighbouring Ravenna, some fifty kilometres away, claims more than eighty works and an annual festival running since 2014.
