At the gates of the wood and the castle, this Val-de-Marne commune holds four Invader mosaics, installed between 30 May 2017 and 2 July 2019. They are worth 190 points in the FlashInvaders game, the highest total among the communes bordering Paris to the east, and none has been lost.

The locations trace a shopping-street route: avenue Auber, avenue Aubert, avenue de Vincennes and rue des Vignerons, the roads linking the town hall to the castle and the metro station. It is a pedestrian geography, the opposite of the artist's infrastructure choices at Bagnolet or Charenton-le-Pont.

The complete survival of the series is explained by the built fabric: Haussmannian and interwar buildings, little altered, whose facades are not refaced every decade. Campaigns placed on stable fabric hold up markedly better than those in districts under renewal, an observation that applies across the inner suburbs.
