This Tarentaise resort, built in the 1970s within the commune of Les Avanchers-Valmorel, received Invader in the middle of August 2017, from the 5th to the 8th: three mosaics worth 80 points in the FlashInvaders game, one of which has since gone.

The locations follow the resort's plan, designed in one piece around a pedestrian street: Rue des Femmes, Route de Crève-Tête climbing towards the high pastures, and the edges of the snow front. That kind of fabric, timber and stone, redone regularly to the rhythm of tourist seasons, explains the loss of one piece.

Mountain resorts form a category of their own in the artist's geography: he works there in summer, when the streets are empty and scaffolding accessible, on pieces that winter holidaymakers will discover without knowing when they arrived. Anzère, in Valais, received the same attention a few years earlier.
