Local street art crystallised on 9 March 2019, when about a hundred graffiti writers took over the derelict Mammouth hypermarket, then the Yellow Vests headquarters at the seventeenth weekend of protest. Sirien, a writer from the Lot, painted a one-eyed, mutilated Marianne there. Documented in early 2021 as an urban-art space before conversion into social housing, the site cemented its graffiti reputation.
Two hubs concentrate the works in Trélissac. The Friche Mammouth, in the commercial zone shared with Boulazac east of Périgueux, remains the reference point for graffiti on abandoned buildings. At the Espace Liberté Franck Grandou, the walls of the preteen club and the rowing club carry commissioned figurative murals, permanently on public view.
Several artists sustain this scene. SOKE, a local writer profiled by France 3 (Street Culture), works mainly on disused sites. Neur ABF, a muralist from the Périgord, has signed here, with painter José Correa, three portraits (Colette, Louise Michel, Nelson Mandela) at the Espace Franck Grandou. In June 2024, SOKE and Neur joined a jam in a warehouse in nearby Périgueux. No festival or waymarked trail specific to the town is documented.
