Map of street art in Lurcy-Lévis (France)
Lurcy-Lévis is a French village in the Allier department, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, with around 2,000 inhabitants. It has become a world-renowned street art destination thanks to the Street Art City complex, founded in 2016 by Gilles Iniesta in a former Orange training centre.
The site hosts more than 130 international muralists in residence across two iconic buildings — Hôtel 128 and Tour 13 — each transformed room by room into mural-rooms. Several monumental outdoor murals complete the trail, including Sonidos Ancestrales by Mexican muralist Oscar Axo (2024), ranked 9th best mural in the world by Street Art Cities.
Lurcy-Lévis is part of an emerging French rural street art circuit, alongside the Boulevard Paint festival in Boulogne-sur-Mer and Vision Art in Crans-Montana.
