Map of street art in Flumet (France)
Flumet sits on a rocky spur at about 900 m, where the Arly and Arrondine torrents meet. A fortified town recorded as early as 1151, it received a charter of liberties from the lords of Faucigny in 1228 and was assigned to the Savoie department in 1860. It shares a ski resort with neighbouring Saint-Nicolas-la-Chapelle.
Murals are spread between the centre and the Evettes area. On Avenue du Lac, Ensemble Réel covered the facade of the Le Faucigny building in 2024, and Maddam painted a 51 m wall near the Trou du Diable car park in 2025. At the foot of the Evettes slopes, Ophélie Lagier turned a bus shelter into mountains and Loks Can repainted a ski school cabin, while a giant tit by SID covers a water tank where the trail to Lac des Evettes begins. In 2026 Graff Matt and Sophie Convers added walls at the Ressourcerie and on Avenue du Lac.
The Val d'Arly Street Art Festival, held every March since 2024 by the tourist office and the Lausanne gallery Papajosette, gives each resort its own day. Here the Ensemble Réel mural served as a screen for a laser show in 2025, and in 2026 Place des 3 Rois hosted live painting on giant inflatable sculptures.
