On the shore of Lake Annecy, at the southern end of the western bank, this Haute-Savoie commune handed its walls and technical fixtures over to painting. The recorded pieces cover an electrical cabinet on the lakeside circuit, lettering in Savoyard colours, a trompe-l'oeil mural at the water's edge and a composition at the entrance to the road tunnel.

The choice of supports matters: in a lakeside commune where land pressure and landscape rules leave few walls available, it is the technical equipment that provides the surface. Transformers, cabinets and tunnel portals can be painted without heavy planning permission, and have become the usual ground for this kind of commission.

The lakeside cycle path, heavily used from April to October, gives these interventions a visibility that few village-centre murals achieve. It is a logic found on other cycle routes built along former railway lines.
