This Périgord commune, north of Périgueux, offers painting supports rarely found elsewhere: two caravans, one covered in abstract graffiti, the other painted with a lion and foliage, along with a shed of large green leaves and a gable end handled in aquatic forms.

The painted caravan belongs to a practice of wasteland or private plot, where an immobilised vehicle serves as a surface much like a wall. That freedom of support is peculiar to rural territories, where space is not short and where the question of permission is settled between neighbours.

The vocabulary, organic and botanical, ties these pieces to the body of work formed by neighbouring communes, from Bourdeilles to Marsac-sur-l'Isle by way of Chancelade and Agonac. It is one of the rare French cases where a mural art identity has formed at the scale of a district rather than a town.
