The prefecture of Savoie carries three pieces in very different registers: a black plaque bearing a yellow bird, a mural devoted to the Chamber Hip Hop Sessions, and a black mage made in pixel mosaic.

The reference to the Chamber Hip Hop Sessions roots this scene in the culture that produced graffiti: a local music and dance event whose painted wall extends its visual identity. That kind of commission, placed by an association rather than a council, is one of the most consistent drivers of mural painting in mid-sized towns.

The pixel mosaic belongs to a family that emerged in Invader's wake: artists assembling tiles to compose video game or fantasy figures, whose pieces are hunted like a treasure trail. Savoie, with Graffmatt and the painters of the Alpine network, also has an active local pool.
