This village in the Périgord vert, overlooked by its castle and its gothic bridge over the Dronne, carries three murals sharing one vocabulary: giant foliage, a plant-figure and a blue eye, in an organic abstraction covering whole walls of village houses.

One of the pieces is signed Neur ABF, a writer active around Périgueux, whose work also appears in Marsac-sur-l'Isle, Chancelade, Champcevinel and Agonac. Five neighbouring communes thus form, with no festival and no shared programme, a coherent body of abstract mural art in a rural setting.

The case is instructive: in a territory without structured public commissioning, it is the presence of one artist and his persistence that produce a visual identity at the scale of a valley. The contrast with festival towns, where identity comes from the programme rather than from a signature, is striking.
