Where to find street art in Brno (Czechia)

Brno is the second largest city in the Czech Republic and the capital of South Moravia. A university and industrial city, it hosts a vibrant independent arts scene, including the Moravian Museum and several contemporary galleries.

Mural art has gradually taken over Brno's public spaces since the 2010s. The Brno City Gallery transformed building gable walls in the district known as the 'Bronx' into monumental canvases, bringing together local and international artists. Tram bridges, stations and electrical transformer substations have also been transformed by colourful murals.

The Malujeme Jinak studio is one of the leading forces in this movement, regularly transforming urban infrastructure — tram stops, power substations and building walls — into artworks accessible to all residents of the city.
