Map of street art in Cali (Colombia)

Cali (officially Santiago de Cali) is the third-largest city in Colombia, capital of the Valle del Cauca department, with around 2.2 million inhabitants. Located in a tropical valley at the foot of the Andes' Western Cordillera, it is the world capital of salsa and a major Afro-Colombian cultural hub.

Its street art scene is one of the most political in Latin America, driven by the female collective Mala Junta Klan and the graphic workshops of Comunas 1 and 2. Recurring themes — racism, biodiversity, memory of urban violence — are painted at very large scale. In October 2024 Cali hosted COP 16 (biodiversity) and several monumental murals were commissioned for the event, including a Rito Sin Sermones × Nandy Mondragón collaboration ranked 14th best mural in the world on Street Art Cities.

Cali is part of an emerging Colombian street art circuit alongside Bogotá, Medellín and Cartagena.
