Map of street art in Foshan (China)

Foshan is a prefecture-level city in Guangdong, southern China, some thirty kilometres west of Guangzhou and part of the Pearl River Delta megalopolis. An industrial metropolis of more than eight million people, it is famous for its martial-arts traditions (the cradle of Wing Chun and Ip Man), Shiwan ceramics and lion dance.

Its street art scene emerged in the 2010s around local artist Hua Tunan (Chen Yingjie), born in Foshan in 1991, who blends traditional Chinese ink and aerosol techniques to produce monumental murals of mythological animals. The Chancheng district concentrates several painted walls visible from the street.

Foshan regularly hosts urban art festivals and remains an anchor for the Cantonese street art scene, with connections to Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Macao.
