Created with stencils in 2009 during the Monumental Art festival, this monumental mural in black, white and yellow depicts an airship flying over a stylised industrial city. The work marks the 70th anniversary of the beginning of World War Two and pays tribute to the aeronautical history of the site — the Graf Zeppelin landed nearby in 1932, when Zaspa still housed an airport. The address 'Pilotów 12' inscribed at the base anchors the work in the neighbourhood's geography.
The artwork Le dirigeable de Zaspa is of type graffiti. You can admire it in the city of Gdańsk in Poland, more precisely here: Pilotów 12a, Gdańsk Zaspa.
This graffiti is also tagged as: cityscape, stencil, industrial, black-and-white, airship, zeppelin.
