Monumental mural painted in 2024 by Aziza Andre' on a corner building along the BeltLine Southeast, next to the Side Saddle Wine Saloon in the Boulevard Heights neighborhood. Commissioned by Atlanta BeltLine Art, the piece brings forgotten figures of American history back to life: three silhouetted Black cowboys riding against a fiery sunset — a tribute to Bill Pickett and to the 25% of Black cowboys of the Old West — and, on the adjacent wall, two portraits celebrating the historical bond of Black women with horses and with Southern agricultural work.
The artwork Renascent is of type graffiti. You can admire it in the city of Atlanta in United States, more precisely here: 680 Hamilton Ave SE, Atlanta, GA 30312.
