After four years of service in the Israeli Air Force, he took to the streets of Tel Aviv in 2006, seeking a visual outlet for the trauma he had experienced. Nitzan Mintz is an Israeli visual poet, born and raised in Tel Aviv. She began writing her poems on the city's walls at 17, turning writing into street art. Trained in creative writing and fine art at the Minshar School in Tel Aviv, she builds site-specific typographic installations — letter stencils, salvaged materials and paint — in which the text and its physical support engage with their locat…
