An oval mosaic medallion is set into the beige brick facade: a woman in a blue cloche hat, glancing sideways with a slight smile, on a background cut into flat red, blue and black shapes. A brass plate below the portrait carries her name, La Bolduc. The irregular run of the tesserae draws her hair and collar like stained glass.
