A woman in a chadri fills the full length of the panel, painted in three shades of grey on a pale ground. The embroidered cap sits on the crown of the head, the fabric grille in front of the eyes is rendered as a dense mesh of dots, and the veil falls in wide folds that spread to the edges of the wall. Mahn Kloix works without outlines: the drapery exists only through planes of light and shadow cut stencil-fashion, and the Marseille artist signs "MAHN" in the bottom left corner. Titled "A Kabul Story", the mural was painted in December 2021, four months after the Taliban took Kabul. It is the twenty-eighth of Le M.U.R de Bourges, on the panel of the former Maison de la Culture, and it was covered by the next one in February 2022.

The artwork A Kabul Story is of type graffiti. You can admire it in the city of Bourges in France, more precisely here: Place André Malraux, 18000 Bourges, France.

This graffiti is also tagged as: engagement, fresque, mural, portrait, femme, monochrome, politique.
