Maria-Liisa Leonidov is an Estonian illustrator and tattoo artist based in Tallinn, working at the Bad Pen Pal studio. Her bright, joyful illustrations draw on nature, Japanese culture and manga, and carry present-day concerns about climate and identity. Her murals can be found across Estonia. Uuk.kivi, born Ulrike Brett Uukkivi, is an Estonian tattoo and graphic artist from Tallinn who has worked at the Bad Pen Pal studio since 2018. Her work sets the human figure within architectural elements, in minimalist, detailed drawing, mostly in black.
