On a white gable, a whole town rolls along: a huge cart on wooden wheels and a paddle wheel carries a stack of little houses, shops and cabins, topped by a tree whose crown spills over the roofs. A metal gangway runs down to a cabin with a flowered purple roof, figures move along it, a small boat floats at the foot of the wall and open books fly off into the sky on a thread. Everything is painted in volume, cast shadows included, like a model set down in front of the façade.
