A long red frieze runs across a concrete wall behind the MACBA, with the rallying cry "TODOS JUNTOS PODEMOS PARAR EL SIDA" at its centre, all together we can stop AIDS, and the signature "K. HARING 89". The original was painted in 1989 on a square in the Raval then scarred by heroin; the work visible today is its reproduction, made from period photographs.
