Thirty interlocking figures cover the 180 square metres of the rear wall of the church of Sant'Antonio Abate, each standing for one aspect of peace in the world. Painted in June 1989 with the help of Pisan students, it is one of the last public murals Keith Haring made before his death, and one of the few he conceived as permanent.
