Micaela Levesque began oil painting in high school and landed her first commission at sixteen, for a local Puerto Rican restaurant. Her mural work, carried by a sensitive realism, focuses on faces and stories of exile. In Aielli she painted an Italian emigrant of 1890 in 2025, in collaboration with the Mural Arts Institute of Philadelphia.
