He treats the wall as a support for circulating and debating themes rooted in the very place the work appears. He is behind the full transcription of Ignazio Silone's novel Fontamara onto a wall in Aielli, and painted the village's first mural in 2016.

Alleg hand-transcribed Ignazio Silone's novel Fontamara across an entire wall, at the foot of the Torre delle Stelle and facing the Fucino plain, the writer's native land. The 2018 edition of the festival marked forty years since his death.
