Psoman is a Belgian muralist born in Brussels in 1981 and based in the Liège area. A graphic design graduate in 2001, he works in an instantly recognisable cell-shading style that sits between destructured shapes and minimal linework. His walls are populated by hybrid creatures in motion, most often fantastical animals carrying entire cities on their backs, a metaphor for the weight of urban spraw…

Painted over four days for the 2015 MiraMiro festival, the mural shows a turquoise-haired figure diving through a globe where a city grows out of the vegetation. To the right, against a flat orange panel, a bear carries a birdcage on its back. The PSOMAN signature and the MiraMiro 2015 tag are painted on the right-hand section of the wall.
