Painted in July 2020 on the wall at 22 rue Saint-Antoine, this Difuz mural tells the everyday life of Le Panier, a neighbourhood he knows inside out. A crowd of passers-by moves along the whole length of the wall in a blue monochrome, from the near-black Prussian blue of the foreground figures to white highlights: a man in profile in a hooded sweatshirt, a woman with a bun, another in a headscarf, then a dozen silhouettes fading away to the right. Behind them the facades of Le Panier are redrawn in the same blue, windows, shutters, grocery sign and street lamp included, so that the painted street continues the real one. Difuz composed around what was already there: the blue door of number 22 and its enamel plate stay in place in the middle of the scene, framed by painted agave leaves. Five years on, the render is flaking in patches and a few tags have been added.
