An entire facade on rue des Mauvestis is turned into a reef: a purple and white angelfish appears in profile on the left, a yellow and blue butterflyfish blows a large transparent bubble in the centre, a mauve cuttlefish occupies the right. Blue seaweed and corals run along the ground, where real wooden planters extend the painted scene. Warm late-day light heightens the blues of the background.
The artwork Reef on Rue des Mauvestis is of type graffiti. You can admire it in the city of Marseille in France, more precisely here: 8 Rue du Panier, Marseille.
This graffiti is also tagged as: fresque, fish, poisson, graffiti, nature, mer, sea.
