Mahn Kloix painted this 200 sq m portrait of Uyghur camp survivor Tursunay Ziawudun using 760 stencils over ten days, on the seven-storey gable wall of an Orange building. In shades of grey-green and beige, her hair unfurls into long flowing bands that turn into overlapping profile faces, like a crowd streaming out of her head. Unveiled in October 2021, the work was the first of MauMA, Marseille's museum of urban art.
