"Raster #1" is the first of the three facades Ben Mathis painted on the Kiefernstraße, done in 2005 at number 19. The entire surface is covered with a grid of small green squares, lighter or darker from bay to bay, which from a distance reads as glazed tiling. The illusion is strong enough that the house passes for genuinely tiled.
The artwork Raster #1, Ben Mathis's green grid is of type graffiti. You can admire it in the city of Düsseldorf in Germany, more precisely here: 19 Kiefernstraße, Düsseldorf.
This graffiti is also tagged as: Düsseldorf, Kiefernstraße, trompe-l'oeil, géométrique, vert.
