The Milanese duo Orticanoodles pay tribute to Joseph Beuys, who taught at the Düsseldorf art academy, with a multi-layer stencil portrait covering an entire gable end. Greys and oxide red break the face into hard-edged planes, under the felt hat that was his trademark. Running at shoulder height is one of his most quoted lines, "Wer nicht denken will, fliegt raus": whoever will not think is thrown out.
