In the underpass at Alt-Erkrath station, a long green wall carries the greeting "Willkommen in Erkrath" in white letters, framed by oversized pink flowers, a blue ribbon and animal silhouettes. The mural belongs to the 2020 campaign to brighten the station approaches, led by the NEANDERARTgroup collective.
