On the blind gable of a red brick building on Avenue Jean Volders in Saint-Gilles, the skeleton of a bipedal prehistoric creature rises several storeys tall. The massive head, hunched shoulders, ribcage, arms folded against the body and long legs ending in broad flat feet are rendered in white line and fine hatching, with no closed outline. The brick shows through everywhere between the strokes, giving the figure the look of an X-ray suspended in mid-air.
