On the edge of a bare concrete pillar, a mosaic of white and blue-grey tiles draws a stepped shape suggesting a wave or a stylised bird. The square tesserae, laid without visible grouting, work with only two values to build the relief. The adjacent face of the pillar carries a torn round paste-up and a small hexagonal bead motif.
