Averi, who also signs as Mr Averi, is a graffiti writer from Brittany who came to tagging in 1991. He learned by watching the Parisian and English painters who passed through to paint in the region, at a time when the local scene amounted to a few walls and very few people. Along the long cladding of a harbour warehouse, a flight of tropical birds with green wings and yellow beaks crosses a pale blue sky.
