Painted in 2022 by Polish artist NeSpoon for the Street Art en Baie festival, this mural covers an entire house gable, from the ground up to the chimney stack. A vast white lace motif unfolds across it, flowers, foliage and netting rendered with a fine brush on an ochre-brown ground, down to the relief of the thread. The pattern is not invented: the artist took it from a Napoleon III-era embroidery, a late-19th-century Breton ceremonial shawl held in a local collection. The wall keeps the scale of architecture and the lightness of cloth.
