Painted in July 2022 by Montpellier artist Mayé for the first edition of the Street Art en Baie festival, this mural fills the large blue gable of the media library. A bearded sailor in a striped shirt floats horizontally, eyes closed, surrounded by weightless objects. The artist gives the key: Rocco is a tribute to a fisherman from his home town who has since died, and the seven boats around him refer to the seven saints of the Yffiniac fountain. The lighthouse he holds in his hand is the spiritual guide of all fishermen, the boats stand for their different conditions, and the small blown-apart dinghy speaks of independent fishermen disappearing under the big polluters. Two suspended trainers drift in the same blue void, the weightless lanky figures being the artist's signature.
