Painted in July 2022 by Breton artist Traknar (Kevin Bidault) for the first edition of the Street Art en Baie festival, this mural fills the gable of a house. An old bearded fisherman, pipe in his mouth and washed-out blue eyes, rises out of a red trawler; a pink octopus in a top hat perches on his hat, and a startled fish bites the line hanging from the pipe bowl. A blue and white lighthouse and a large yellow disc complete the scene against a midnight-blue ground. The artist describes it as a nod to Brittany, between nature, the harshness of the raging sea and a look at ecology: a tribute to an essential trade and to Breton fishermen.
