A woman's face in pink and violet flesh tones holds the left half, her gaze level under heavy lashes, a broad cream shape wrapping her like a hood while dark strands cross her cheeks. To the right, a pink and black swallow with open wings and a long forked tail settles on a thin branch crossing the panel against a bare grey-mauve ground. Saturated figurative work is the artist's signature, active on the south bank of the Tagus since the mid 1990s.
