Painted in 2021 by Portuguese artist KRUS (Sofia Cruz) for MURO, the Lisbon urban art festival, and dated on the wall itself. A long-haired figure in flat ochre tips head first towards a wide blue band standing for the Tagus, an overturned amphora in hand with a drop falling from it. Behind, the Lisbon skyline is cut out in pale grey with the deck of the 25 de Abril bridge, while coloured geometric shapes, a blue triangle, an ochre house, a green grid and a yellow disc for a sun, abstract the rest of the landscape. The artist sees in the river what feeds the real and imaginary life of those who live on its banks.
