A last angle on the waste mask: the framing takes in part of the wall and ceiling of the passage, putting the piece back in its setting. The contrast between grey concrete and saturated plastics carries the whole effect. Bordalo II has made this repurposing of discards his signature, in Lisbon and beyond.
