A vast bird of prey painted on the gable of a building on the Alameda Principal: head, open beak and breast emerge from a tangle of thousands of midnight-blue strokes, like a skein of wire unravelling towards the bottom. DALeast applies his usual technique, in which the animal's mass reads from a distance and dissolves into lines up close. On the pink facade next door, blue bird silhouettes extend the raptor's flight.
