On the gable wall of an apartment block in the Varketili district of eastern Tbilisi, photorealistic tropical flora unfolds on a grey ground: white and pink orchids, a red bromeliad, a yellow bloom and large white-veined alocasia leaves. The composition draws on the home garden the artist grows from plants given to him by his mother.
